One week old!

It's amazing to think that in one week we've gone from this:

to this!
It has been a hard week, but I think things are finally leveling out. We took Abby back to the pediatrician today, and she is back up to 7 lbs 3 oz! The doctor was very pleased with how much weight she had gained since Thursday, and said she isn't worried about her at all. As long as we keep up with what we're doing, Abby should be fine. It looks like we are going to have to stick with formula from here on out, and I am going to slowly wean off the pump because I'm just not making enough milk to sustain her. It's not what I had hoped for, but I know she will be fine. We just want a happy, healthy baby!

I am constantly torn between the options of eating, sleeping, or blogging/facebooking when Abby is asleep, but I will try to keep posting with new pictures and information. I would like it on the record that I am absolutely in love with this little girl, and I can't believe she is already a week old! I hope it doesn't all go by too fast!!

I can't believe how old she looks for just one week. I think it's all that hair! She'll be ready for her first haircut before she's 6 months old at this rate. Looking forward to meeting her in a couple of weeks. Oops - guess I better tell Mamaw and Papaw we're coming for a visit! :)

She is just beautiful! I am so glad she is gaining weight and doing so well. Please let me know if I can do anything for you so you can get more sleep or just have more time to enjoy that precious baby.

I can't believe it's been a week, either! My how things change!

(Side note--just thought I heard Jonas crying--nope, it was just the beginning of "The Jungle Book" that Kalleigh is watching ... again!)

She's beautiful. As much as we enjoy the blogs...I say, SLEEP! No contest.
